We now operate three Studios in the UK. Our main Studio is based in Hereford with two other fully manned Studios in London and Birmingham. We cover all contracting projects nationwide. Previously our staff have worked for many years at the two preeminent studios of John Hardman & Co. Birmingham (est. 1844) and Goddard & Gibbs Ltd (est.1868) in East London. Ark Stained Glass & Leaded Lights Ltd. are experts in the restoration, conservation and manufacture of stained glass and leaded lights. We restore and conserve stained glass and leaded lights, working in collaboration with architects and clients to an agreed level of treatment. All of our traditional painting and design work is undertaken in house. We do not subcontract to any other Studios. Further, we supply and restore steel casements and flat iron frames using traditional fixtures and fittings. We manufacture new stained glass and leaded light windows, based on the client’s own designs or created by our in-house designer, using traditional and contemporary methods to fulfil our customers' requirements. Projects are managed through all aspects of removal, manufacturing and final installation. We work in the UK and overseas. Services - Surveys and condition reports We can produce a detailed report on the condition of glass in situ. From this it can be determined on the best process for restoration. Other services include supply and fitting of Stainless Steel protection guards and Iso Thermal glazing. We are fully compliant with current building site regulations and all our fitting staff are CSCS card holders. Our onsite staff also hold PASMA and SSSTS certificates. RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are detailed for each project.
